A hole, a rope, a tree branch—these simple things were enough to hang a man who had trained in martial arts for thirteen years.

Ding Peng hated himself. Why had he been so careless, so weak, so utterly useless?

In truth, the placement of the hole, the rope, and the branch seemed to have been calculated with precision. It would take not only a brilliant mind but also years of experience to execute such a perfect trap.

The red-robed old man had a head much larger than most, his hair as white as silver, yet his complexion was as rosy as a baby’s. His body was plump, almost childlike.

The other old man was thin and light, his face gloomy, dressed in a long black robe. He looked like a dried-up fig.

Both men were completely absorbed in their game, each move carefully considered as the sun rose higher in the sky, then gradually sank westward. Noon had long passed. If not for this misfortune, Ding Peng should have already defeated Liu Ruosong and made a name for himself in the martial world.

But now, he was still hanging from the tree.

How long would their game last? Were they planning to deal with him next?

The gloomy old man in black played his moves just as gloomily. He held a piece in his hand, pondering for a long time before gently and slowly placing it on the board.

The red-robed old man’s eyes widened as he stared at the move. Beads of sweat began to form on his forehead.

Anyone who saw his expression would know that he had lost the game.

He had been too careless, too distracted. He had even deliberately given up a move.

Those who lose always find excuses to explain their defeat, refusing to admit they were outplayed.

Of course, he would demand another game.

But the black-robed old man had already stood up and walked away without a backward glance.

The red-robed old man jumped to his feet, shouting and chasing after him.

“You can’t leave! We must play another game!” One walked ahead, the other chased behind. They didn’t seem to be using any special lightness skills, nor were they moving particularly fast, yet in the blink of an eye, both had vanished.

Even the little red-clothed monkey in the tree across from them had disappeared without a trace.

As the sky darkened, it seemed as though they had truly left, as if they had completely forgotten about the man hanging there.

From beginning to end, they hadn’t so much as glanced at Ding Peng.

The desolate mountain grew silent as night fell. Of course, no one else would come here.

A man hanging in such a place could easily remain there for seven or eight days without anyone finding him.

It wouldn’t be strange if he were left to die, slowly strangled by the rope.

Ding Peng was truly desperate.

Not only was he in a hurry, but he was also cold, hungry, his head was spinning, and his limbs were numb.

He suddenly realized that he was an utter fool, the biggest fool in the world, the most unlucky fool in the world.

He didn’t even know how he had ended up in such a miserable state.

Up to this point, he didn’t even know the girl’s name, had given her his only piece of clothing, and all his possessions had been devoured by her. Moreover, because of her, he had been strung up like a dead fish, with no idea how long he would remain hanging there.

He was so furious that he wanted to slap himself seventy or eighty times and then burst into tears.

Just when he thought things couldn’t get worse, the rope suddenly snapped. He fell from mid-air, and although the fall was hard, the acupoint that had been struck earlier was now unblocked.

Could all of this have been part of someone else’s plan?

Perhaps they just wanted to teach him a lesson, not actually hang him to death.

But they had no past grievances or recent conflicts, so why were they tormenting him like this?

He didn’t think about it, and even if he did, he couldn’t make sense of it.

The first thing he needed to do now was to get the mud out of his mouth.

The second thing was to rush back to where he had been earlier and find that girl to get some answers. Unfortunately, the girl was already gone, and she had taken his only piece of clothing with her.

After parting ways, he would likely never see her again, nor would he see the old man in the red robe.

What exactly was going on?

He might never figure it out in his entire life.

The only thing he could do now was to head to Wansong Villa, bare-chested, empty-stomached, with a foul taste in his mouth and a belly full of resentment, to apologize.

Although it was already a bit late, showing up late was still better than not showing up at all.

If someone asked him why he was late, he would have to come up with a story to explain.

Because if he told the truth, no one would believe him.

Wansong Villa was far more impressive than he had imagined. Even the gatekeeper was dressed in a fine satin robe.

Upon learning that he was “Young Hero Ding Peng,” the gatekeeper treated him with great courtesy, extremely polite, not even glancing at his bare chest or the mud on his face.

The gatekeepers of important figures were usually very polite and well-mannered.

But this kind of politeness and etiquette was truly unbearable.

He was led into the hall, where the gatekeeper said courteously, “Young Master Ding, you’ve arrived quite early. Today is only the fifteenth, not yet the sixteenth. Our master and the guests he invited were supposed to wait here for you. Even if they had to wait for three or five days, it wouldn’t have been a big deal.”

Ding Peng’s face turned slightly red as he stammered, “I was actually here earlier…”

He had already prepared a story, but the polite gatekeeper didn’t seem interested in hearing it. The gatekeeper quickly continued, “It’s just a pity that our master happened to have some urgent business in the city today.” He smiled, a very polite smile. “Our master repeatedly instructed me to ask for your forgiveness, as he only waited for three hours before having to leave.”

Ding Peng was stunned.

He couldn’t blame Liu Ruosong. No matter who you were waiting for, three hours was already more than enough.

But what was he supposed to do now?

He had only one copper coin left, no clothes to wear, and his stomach was growling with hunger.

Where could he go?

The gatekeeper had been very polite, but there was absolutely no intention of inviting him inside to wait.

Finally, Ding Peng couldn’t help but ask, “Can I wait here for him to return?”

The gatekeeper smiled and said, “If Young Master Ding wishes to wait here, of course, you may!” Ding Peng breathed a sigh of relief, but the gatekeeper quickly added, “However, we dare not let Young Master Ding stay. Our master has given strict instructions, and we must ask for your understanding.”

Ding Peng was at a loss.

He couldn’t blame Liu Ruosong. No matter who you were waiting for, three hours was already more than enough.

But what was he supposed to do now?

He had only one copper coin left, no clothes to wear, and his stomach was growling with hunger.

Where could he go?

He was still smiling: “Because once the master goes out, he will be away for at least twenty or thirty days. How dare we let Young Master Ding wait here for twenty or thirty days?” Ding Peng’s heart sank again. The gatekeeper added: “But the master also instructed that he will definitely return before the fifteenth of next month. By then, he will be fine. Waiting for three to five days won’t matter.” Ding Peng suppressed his anger and said: “Alright, I’ll come again on the fifteenth of next month, definitely before noon.” The gatekeeper smiled: “I’ve said it, the master will be free that day. It doesn’t matter if Young Master Ding comes a little later.” He was still smiling politely, speaking even more politely.

But Ding Peng had already turned around and rushed out without looking back. He really didn’t want to see the smiling face of this polite and well-mannered person again. He really couldn’t stand it. He vowed that one day, when he became famous and successful, he would definitely come back and let this gatekeeper see his smiling face too. That was for the future. Now, he really couldn’t smile. He didn’t know how he would spend this month. No matter what, he still had a copper coin. A copper coin could still buy a hard cake, drink more cold water, and still fill his stomach. But when he thought of taking out the last coin, he found that even this coin was gone. Could it be that it fell out of his pocket when he was hung up just now? No. He suddenly remembered that he didn’t put the coin in his purse. After buying the beef, he put the remaining coin in a small pocket on his coat. Now that the clothes had been taken away by the girl, his last coin was of course also taken away. But he didn’t even know her name. Ding Peng suddenly laughed, laughed loudly, almost laughing out tears. Night, a summer night. A moonlit night. The bright moon hung high, the stars filled the sky, and the spring water under the moonlight was like a ribbon of brocade. The evening breeze was filled with the fragrance of flowers, the fragrance of leaves, and bursts of fragrance from the distant mountains. The moonlit night was originally beautiful, and the most beautiful of course was the round moon. Ding Peng hoped that this round moon was a round cake. He was not completely ignorant of elegance, but when a person is too hungry, he will forget the word elegance. This was the place where he met the girl last time. He came back here because he really had nowhere else to go. With his skills, it would be very easy to succeed in stealing or robbing. But he absolutely cannot do this kind of thing. He absolutely cannot leave himself with a stain that can never be washed away. He must make a name for himself through the right path. Could the coin have fallen out of his clothes? If it fell here, maybe it could still be found. He didn’t find the coin, but found a peanut. He carefully picked it up, divided the peanut into two halves, and was about to slowly chew them bit by bit. Unexpectedly, at this moment, suddenly a girl rushed over like an antelope being chased by a hunter, and snatched away the last peanut in his hand. But this time, Ding Peng didn’t feel that he was unlucky. Instead, he jumped up happily, “It’s you!”

This hateful girl who harmed people was actually here again.

Ding Peng really couldn’t imagine that he could see her again. In the moonlight, she seemed even more beautiful than in the morning.

Although they had only met for the second time, when Ding Peng saw her, it was like seeing a very close friend.

The girl also seemed very happy, and grabbed Ding Peng’s hand forcefully, as if she was afraid that he would suddenly slip away.

“I thought I would never see you again.”

This sentence was exactly what both of them wanted to say, and they said it at the same time.

Both of them laughed.

Ding Peng also held her hand tightly, as if he was also afraid that she would suddenly slip away.

But she looked at him and said, “Just now I kept reminding myself that if I see you this time, I must remember one thing.”

Ding Peng said: “What is it?”

She smiled sweetly, “Remember to ask your name.”

Ding Peng laughed again. He had also been reminding himself just now that this time he must ask her name.

Her name is Kexiao.

“You mean Kexiao?” “Yes!” “The ‘ke’ of ‘can’, the ‘xiao’ of ‘joke’?” “Yes!” Ding Peng held back his laughter and said, “This name is really strange.” Kexiao said: “It’s not only strange, but also funny. And my surname makes it even funnier.” Ding Peng said: “What’s your surname?” Kexiao said: “My surname is Li.”

She sighed, “I really can’t figure out how my father came up with such a name for me.”

Ding Peng said: “Actually, this name is not bad.”

Kexiao said: “But since I was little, people have asked me: ‘Li Kexiao, what’s so funny about you?’ As soon as I hear others ask me this, my head gets big, and I can’t laugh at all.” Ding Peng finally couldn’t help laughing loudly.

Kexiao also laughed herself.

All the unlucky things of this day were completely forgotten with a laugh.

Unfortunately, there were other things that could not be forgotten. Even if they were forgotten for a while, they would soon be remembered.

For example: hunger!

Laughter cannot fill the stomach, nor can it solve their problems.

Kexiao still had problems.

She was still wearing Ding Peng’s clothes, clothes that could not completely cover her figure.

The moonlight shone on the parts of her that the clothes did not cover, making her look even more moving.

Ding Peng had even more problems of his own.

But for some reason, what he cared most about now was not himself, but her.

Kexiao said: “I know you must want to ask me why I asked you to find that old man in red? Why didn’t I wait for you here? Where did I go for the past half day?” Ding Peng admitted.

Kexiao said: “But you’d better not ask.”

Ding Peng said: “Why?” Kexiao said: “Because even if you ask me, I won’t tell you.” She took his hand again: “Some things you’d better not know. The more things a person knows, the more troubles he has. I don’t want to add more troubles to you.” Her hand was soft and smooth, and her eyes were gentle and sincere.

Although Ding Peng had never been close to a woman, he could see that she was sincere to him. For Ding Peng, this was enough.

He also held her hand and said, “I’ll listen to you. If you don’t say, I won’t ask.” Kexiao smiled sweetly and said, “But I still want you to do one thing for me.” Ding Peng said, “What is it?” Kexiao said: “Walk down this stream, there is a small building with green tiles on the roof.” Ding Peng said, “You want me to go there?”

Kexiao said: “I want you to go now.”

Ding Peng said, “And then?”

Kexiao said: “After you get there, someone will take you to see the owner there. You must listen to what he says, and you must do what he wants you to do.”

She looked at him: “You must trust me, I will never harm you.” Ding Peng said: “I believe you.” Kexiao said: “Will you go or not?” Not go, of course not go, absolutely not go. Last time he did something for her, he had suffered enough, suffered enough. This time, the matter was even more absurd, how could he go! But he went again. Last time it was “walk up the stream”, this time it was “walk down”; last time it was an “old man in red”, this time it was a “small building with green tiles”.

Last time he was hung up like a dead fish and ate a mouthful of stinky mud. What would he encounter this time?

Would he be even more unlucky this time?

He had already seen the small building.

The small building under the moonlight looked peaceful and quiet. No one could see what kind of traps were inside. There were no traps in the small building, only soft lights, gorgeous decorations, and exquisite furniture.

If you must say that there are traps in this place, then the traps must be gentle traps.

It is better for a person to die in a gentle trap than to be hanged from a tree.

The door was opened by a little girl with a big, shiny black braid. She was very good at smiling, and her two dimples were very deep when she smiled.

In the middle of the night, suddenly a strange man with no clothes on came to knock on the door. Ding Peng thought she would be scared and surprised.

Unexpectedly, she didn’t look flustered at all. She just giggled, as if she had known for a long time that there would be such a naked man coming: “Who are you looking for?”

“I’m looking for the owner here.”

“I’ll take you there.” She not only agreed readily, but also took Ding Peng’s hand and left, as if she had been old friends with Ding Peng.

The owner was upstairs.

The room upstairs was even more gorgeous, with beaded curtains hanging in the brocade pavilion. The owner was behind the curtain.

This was not because she wanted to be mysterious. In the middle of the night, a woman always had to be wary of a strange man. Maybe she had already changed clothes and was ready to sleep, and of course she didn’t want a strange man to see her.

Although Ding Peng was not very worldly, he understood this point.

Of course, he already knew that she was a woman, because her voice, although a little hoarse, was still very charming and pleasant: “Who asked you to come to me?”

“It was a Li Niang.”

“What is she to you?” “She is my friend.” “What did she say to you?” “She said that whatever you want me to do, I have to do it.”

“You listen to her?”

“I believe she will never harm me.” “No matter what you want me to do, you are willing to do it?” “You are her friend, and I trust you too.”

“Do you know what I want to do to you?”

“I don’t know.” The owner’s voice suddenly changed, becoming very fierce: “I want to put you in a basin of very hot water, use a big brush to brush all the mud off your body, put on a set of clothes that you have never worn before, put on a pair of new shoes, and then press you on a chair, use a pot of beef loin that has been stewed for several hours to fill your stomach, so that you can’t even walk.”

Ding Peng laughed.

He had already heard her voice.

A person giggled and walked out from behind the beaded curtain. It was Kexiao.

Ding Peng deliberately sighed and said, “I’m not bad to you, why do you want to harm me like this?” Kexiao also deliberately put on a straight face and said, “Who told you to be so obedient? If I don’t harm you, who will I harm?” Ding Peng said, “Actually, I’m not afraid of these things.” Kexiao said, “What are you afraid of?” Ding Peng said, “I’m most afraid of drinking. If you use a few catties of aged Shaoxing wine to me again, it will really hurt me.”

Aged wine, braised beef.

If someone really wants to use these things to harm people, there must be many people who are willing to be harmed.

Now Ding Peng had taken a hot bath, and his whole body, from the inside out, from head to toe, had been changed into new clothes.

Only one belt was not changed.

A belt made of blue cloth, one inch wide and four feet long.

For a person who was already dizzy from hunger, this kind of wine was really too old, and the beef was too much.

He was really unable to walk.

Kexiao smiled sweetly and said, “Now you should know that you really shouldn’t be too good to me, because the better people are to me, the more I want to harm them.”

Ding Peng sighed and said, “Actually, I can’t be considered very good to you. I just gave you a piece of clothing and treated you to some cold beef and cold bread.” Kexiao said: “What you gave me was not a broken piece of clothing, but all your clothes. What you treated me to was not a little beef, but all your food.”

She looked at him, her eyes full of tenderness and gratitude, and said, “If someone gave you everything he had, what would you do to him?” Ding Peng did not speak.

He suddenly felt that life was still lovely, and the world was still full of warmth.

Kexiao said: “If someone gave me everything he had, I would have only one way to treat him.” Ding Peng said, “What way?”

Kexiao lowered her head and said softly, “I will also give him everything I have.” She really gave him everything she had. Dawn. When Ding Peng woke up, she was still beside him, lying on his chest like a dove. Looking at her dark hair and snow-white neck, he felt a kind of unprecedented happiness and satisfaction in his heart. Because this beautiful woman completely belonged to him. He was not only satisfied, but also proud, because now he was a real man. He didn’t know when she woke up, and was staring at him lovely with a pair of big, tender eyes. He gently stroked her soft hair and murmured, “Do you know what I’m thinking?”

Kexiao said, “What are you thinking?” Ding Peng said, “I’m thinking, if I were a rich and famous person, I would definitely take you to travel all over the world, so that everyone in the world would envy us and be jealous of us. At that time, you would definitely feel proud of me too.”

He sighed and said, “Unfortunately, now I’m just a poor boy with nothing.”

Kexiao smiled sweetly and said, “What I like is you, this poor boy.” Ding Peng was

Kexiao said softly: “I am a woman, and I don’t want to compete with those famous swordsmen in the martial arts world. As long as you have this heart, I am already very happy.” She hugged him tightly and whispered by his side: “I only want you.” The full moon waned, and the waning moon will become full again. Days passed by, and Ding Peng almost forgot his appointment with Liu Ruosong. But Kexiao did not forget. “I remember you have an appointment on July 15th.” Ding Peng said: “I will go on that day.”

Kexiao said: “Today is already the eighth day of the month. You should practice your swordsmanship these few days. It’s best to go to another place to practice alone. I know that once you see me, you will… you will be distracted.” Ding Peng smiled: “I am thinking about it now.”

Kexiao did not smile, nor did she say anything more. But when Ding Peng woke up the next day, she had already left the small building with her maid who had two dimples when she smiled, leaving only a letter.

She wanted Ding Peng to practice his skills well these few days, to take good care of his physical strength, and to reunite after the appointment on July 15th.

This made Ding Peng even more grateful.

Although he couldn’t help but feel a little sad about the separation, when he thought that they would reunite soon, he cheered up and practiced swordsmanship, practiced his strength, and practiced his Qi.

For her sake, he could not lose this battle even more.

He found that his physical strength was better than before. A man can only be considered a real man after having a woman, just as the earth will become richer and more full after being nourished by rain.

By the fifteenth of July, his spirit and physical strength had reached their peak.

He already had the confidence and certainty to win this battle.

July 15th.

Morning.

The weather was clear and the sun was shining brightly. Ding Peng’s mood was the same as the weather today. He felt that he was full of energy and vitality, and that he could withstand even if the sky fell.

The polite and well-mannered gatekeeper of the Wansong Villa was also surprised when he saw him.

Being a gatekeeper for a wealthy family is not an easy task. It not only requires a pair of eyes that can tell at a glance whether a person is rich or poor, but also a face that is naturally like a coffin lid.

But now there were not only expressions on his face, but also very rich expressions.

He really couldn’t imagine that this well-dressed and radiant young man was the unlucky poor boy last month.

Seeing his expression, Ding Peng was even more happy. The anger he suffered that day was finally relieved a little.

When he defeats Liu Ruosong, this brother’s expression will definitely be even more pleasant.

The only thing Ding Peng felt a little sorry about was that he had no grievances or grudges with Liu Ruosong, and he should not have ruined his reputation for many years.

He heard that Liu Ruosong was not only very chivalrous in the martial arts world, but also had a very good reputation, and he was also a gentleman.

Liu Ruosong was slender and thin, with neat attire, exquisite clothes, and polite manners. He was a very cultivated and graceful middle-aged man.

For most girls, this kind of man is far more attractive than a young lad.

He never mentioned what happened last month, nor did he say that Ding Peng had come too early today.

This alone made Ding Peng have to admit that he was a gentleman.

His attitude was very steady, his movements were light and agile, his fingers were long and powerful, and his reaction was very quickly.

This also made Ding Peng have to admit that he was a strong enemy, and he did not have a false reputation in the martial arts world.

The martial arts arena paved with fine sand had already been prepared. The weapon racks on both sides were filled with various dazzling weapons, and six or seven sandalwood chairs were placed under the trees.

Liu Ruosong explained: “Several friends have long admired Young Xia Ding’s swordsmanship and want to come and watch. I took the liberty to invite them. I only hope that Young Xia Ding will not blame me.”

Of course Ding Peng would not blame him.

When a person becomes famous and shows his face, he always hopes that someone will come to see him, and the more people come, the happier he will be.

He only wanted to know: “Who are coming?” Liu Ruosong said: “One is a senior in the martial arts world, Mr. Zhong of Mount Diancang.” Ding Peng said: “The Wind and Cloud Swordsman Zhong Zhan!”

Liu Ruosong smiled slightly: “I didn’t expect Young Xia Ding to know this old gentleman.” Of course Ding Peng knew that Zhong Zhan’s integrity was as respected as his swordsmanship.

It was really Ding Peng’s luck to have someone like him as a witness to this battle.

Liu Ruosong said: “Old Man Plum Blossom and Mo Zhu Zi will also come. In the martial arts world, we are ranked together as the Three Friends of the Cold Winter, but I really dare not take it.”

He smiled again, revealing a look of pride that even a gentleman could not avoid: “There is also a Mr. Xie, who is not very famous in the martial arts world because he rarely goes out.” He smiled again: “People in the Divine Sword Villa have always rarely walked in the martial arts world.” Ding Peng was moved and said: “Divine Sword Villa? Is this Mr. Xie from the Divine Sword Villa?”

Liu Ruosong said lightly: “Yes.” Ding Peng’s heart began to beat. For a young man who learns swordsmanship, the four words “Divine Sword Villa” itself have a shocking power that makes people’s hearts jump.

Divine Sword Villa, Cuiyun Peak, Green Water Lake, the Xie family. The Third Young Master of the Xie family, Xie Xiaofeng. The divine sword among swords, the sword god among people. Could the Mr. Xie who came today be him?

The first to arrive was Zhong Zhan of Diancang. The Wind and Cloud Swordsman became famous very early, and Liu Ruosong also called him an old gentleman, but he did not look old. His waist was still straight, his hair was still jet black, and his eyes were still bright.

He was not very polite to this young swordsman who had defeated the three great masters of Qingping, Huashan, and Songyang. Later, Ding Peng learned that he was not very polite to anyone. It seems that upright people always have this kind of temper, always thinking that others should respect him especially because of his integrity. Is this because there are too few upright people in the martial arts world? But he did not sit in the upper seat. The upper seat was of course reserved for Mr. Xie of the Divine Sword Villa.

Mr. Xie had not yet arrived. Plum Blossom and Mo Zhu Zi, two of the “Three Friends of the Cold Winter,” had already arrived.

When Ding Peng saw these two people, he was stunned.

One of these two people was wearing a red shirt with silver hair and a ruddy face like a baby. The other had a gloomy face and was as thin as bamboo. Obviously, they were the two people who were playing chess under the ancient tree at the end of the spring that day. But they seemed to have never seen Ding Peng before.

Ding Peng really wanted to ask Old Man Plum Blossom: “Why didn’t you bring the little monkey who likes to wear red clothes like you?”

But Old Man Plum Blossom seemed to have no idea about this, and even looked very arrogant towards Ding Peng.

Ding Peng also wanted to forget about this, but there was one thing he absolutely could not forget.

——Why did Kexiao go to find them? What is the relationship between her and these two people?

He regretted why he didn’t ask this matter clearly, why he agreed to Kexiao: “If you don’t say it, I won’t ask.”

Now, of course, he has no way to ask again, because Mr. Xie of the Divine Sword Villa has already arrived.

This Mr. Xie has a round face, a fat body, a smiling face, and is very amiable. He looks like a businessman who is making money.

This Mr. Xie is obviously not Xie Xiaofeng, the world’s number one swordsman and the third young master of the Xie family, who is famous all over the world.

But others are still very respectful to him, and even Zhong Zhan of Diancang insisted that he take the upper seat.

He insisted that he would not, and kept saying that he was just a steward in the Divine Sword Villa. In front of these famous heroes, being able to sit at the last seat was already a great honor. Anyone from the Divine Sword Villa has such a status and such an aura in the martial arts world.

Ding Peng’s heart jumped again, and his blood became hot again.

He vowed that one day he would also go to the Divine Sword Villa and visit the unparalleled famous hero with the three-foot sword in his hand, to ask for advice on his unparalleled swordsmanship. Even if he lost under his sword, it would be worthwhile in this life.

But this battle must not be lost.

He slowly stood up, stared at Liu Ruosong, and said: “Junior Ding Peng, begs senior for a move, but I hope senior will show mercy with his sword.” Zhong Zhan actually said: “You are still young, there is one thing you must always remember.”

Ding Peng said: “Yes.” Zhong Zhan said with a serious face and coldly: “The sword is originally a ruthless thing. Once the sword is drawn, there can be no mercy.”

Two purple-clothed boys with their hair in buns stood respectfully behind Liu Ruosong, holding a gorgeously decorated sword box.

Liu Ruosong opened the box, took out the sword, and drew the sword. With a “clang” sound, the long sword came out of its sheath, and the sound was like a dragon’s roar.

Mr. Xie smiled and said: “Good sword.” This is indeed a good sword. Between the flowing sword light, the cold sword energy imminent.

With the sword in his hand, Liu Ruosong’s attitude was still so elegant and leisurely.

Ding Peng’s hand gripped the hilt tightly, his knuckles had turned white due to the force, and his palms were already sweating.

His sword was just an ordinary green steel sword, absolutely not comparable to the sharp weapon in Liu Ruosong’s hand.

He also did not have Liu Ruosong’s calm and elegant demeanor.

Therefore, although he believed that his move “Meteor from the Sky” would definitely break Liu Ruosong’s Wudang orthodox swordsmanship, he still felt very nervous.

Liu Ruosong looked at him and smiled: “I also have a sword here. Although it is not a magical weapon, it is still passable. If Young Xia Ding does not abondand, I will ask someone to fetch it.”

He relied on his status as a senior master and would never take any advantage in any way.

But Ding Peng refused to accept his kindness and said lightly: “This junior will use this sword. This is a relic of my late father, and this junior dare not abandon it lightly.” Liu Ruosong said: “Young Xia Ding’s swordsmanship is also inherited from his family?” Ding Peng said: “Yes.”

Zhong Zhan suddenly asked again: “Are you a descendant of the Ding family in Taihu?”

Ding Peng said: “This junior is from Jibei.”

Zhong Zhan said: “That’s strange.”

He continued coldly: “The martial arts world teach that this Young Xia Ding is not only superb in swordsmanship, but the most accomplished sword is even more like a meteor flying from the sky, magical and wonderful. I have been learning swordsmanship for fifty years, and I don’t know that there is a Ding family in Jibei, and there is such an exquisite family swordsmanship.”

Mr. Xie nodded and said: “Actually, this is nothing strange. In the martial arts world, there are many hermits who do not seek fame. Although Mr. Zhong is knowledgeable and experienced, he may not be able to know everything.”

Zhong Zhan closed his mouth. Liu Ruosong did not say anything more, returned the sword, and held it flat in front of his chest. He said: “Please!”
